Happy 2008!

Well 2007 is over and I've decided to return to my blog page after months and months of forgetfulness and not botheredness.

I love how I can add 'ness' to the end of pretty much any adjective and it makes sense in my head.

So 2007 was a pretty good year. A lot of things happened concerning school and youth group and friends. Here are some of the things that happened. Good and bad:

-Summerstock. Still fun even though I was sick and not in a good mood pretty much the entire time. That's how youth group works with me. It's ALWAYS fun.

-Then I saw my sister and brother-in-law off at the airport. I miss them.

-Parachute 07. A very good time. The usual madness happened with waterfights and late nights and surprisingly the best night was the last night when it was raining and Dain, Jesse and I got to hang out for ages and even snuck into the Supporta's Cafe (where it was dry) and fell asleep on the couches. Good times.


-I became an aunt on the 7th of Feb when my nephew Cole was born. He was a huge 10.5LB!!

-School started. The next week was my sweet 16th birthday and I didn't end up doing anything special for it besides going out to Mexican with my rents and Tisha and Sarah.

-I GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!

-MXPX CONCERT--WAS THE MAN!!

-I joined the soccer team and was made captain of the 2nd XI even though I'd never played before...we one all our games bar one. Even a ''friendly'' game against the 1st XI. Cuz that's how we roll.

-Went through a weird depressed stage that no one really seemed to realise that I was going through...

-Got over myself.

-Fell in love with the Transformers movie. SEQUEL?!?!

-Bloom toga party was a highlight. That was a fun night. Anytime that you sit on the floor and eat healthy food off a low table mediterranian style with good company is fun!

-I became an auntie again when Acca was born on August 19th at 7.15LB.

-Was the prompt in our senior production of Pride and Prejudice.

-Went to my first prom through youth group with my friend Jesse.

-Had the most embarrassing moment so far in my 16 year old life concerning a certain dance and a chicken fillet that wasn't mine... =). Still makes me go red...

-Ate ostridge with Jake.

-Missions week.

-Uh...I'll say nothing except a joke..."Q: what's the difference between the All Blacks and a teabag? A: A teabag stays in the cup longer!"

-Started getting driving lessons.

-Open mic night where I played my own song that wasn't really finished. Sarah F and I also did our versions of some of Pheb's songs from 'Friends' Such as 'Smelly Cat' and the christmas song.

-Went to Taupo and stayed in a ***** hotel with the Thomas family.

-Didn't do Christmas. Instead we went up north as a family and stayed with the Thomas family.

And that's pretty much it. Not a bad year all in all. This year looks pretty exciting with the new school year coming up (I've decided I hate High School, actually. But I'll blog about that some other time...) and in a couple of days I'm recording a worship CD with some youth group friends. And so many more things but this blog is long enough as it is.
